The Vega Baja Region - idyllic countryside, stunning coastlines...

With over 320 days of sunshine a year and an average temperature of 20 degrees, the World Health Organisation has recognised the region as being one of the healthiest places to live on earth.

Buying in Spain is not only about purchasing a property, it is about buying into a lifestyle change. North Costa Blanca

Steeped in history and tradition, this lush countryside has been dubbed lemon & orange blossom country by developers, and straddles the slow moving Rio Segura that crosses the plain flowing into the sea at Guardamar del Segura. In the north, the Vega Baja reaches to Europe's biggest palm forest at Elche and to the historic city of Murcia in the south. There are many charming villages and towns in between such as Almoradi, Dolores & Catral. These towns are close to a number of excellent golf courses and parks plus the outstanding blue flag beaches of Guardamar and La Marina to name but two.

Whilst the lemon & orange groves cover many hectares with the contrasting mountainous peaks, there are towns like Orihuela, Jacarilla, La Romana. Pinoso, Novelda, Jumilla, Monovar, Crevillente or Elche that combine their history with modern-day amenities and recreational facilities to suit all walks of life.

North Costa Blanca

The Vega Baja, whilst generally flat and good for walking or cycling, has hills, natural lagoons and nature parks. The region has excellent educational, sports and medical facilities and there are many fine restaurants and bars.

There are fiestas taking place throughout the year in many of the villages, towns and cities. Local folk dress up in costumes that are a wonderful sight to be seen. The atmosphere at these fiestas is electric and indicates how happy the Spanish people are and enjoying the party scene.

The area is supported by an excellent road network that links the airports of Murcia and Alicante. The three main airlines into these airports from the UK are Monarch, Easyjet and Ryanair. The travelling time from either of these airports to our office is approximately 30 minutes.

If the location you seek is outside of our geographical location, then we would advise you to contact one of our partners who will specialise in the area of your choice. For more details just pick up the phone or email us.
